But as a reputable company operating withtin the National Association of Petsitters guidelines, we strive to comply with all legalities in order to give you peace of mind and to ensure your cat is looked after to the best possible standard of care. |
Cloud 9 Cats is a memeber of the National Association of Petsitters. All petsitters registered with the company have independent Disclosure Scotland checks. |
During the owners absence, Cloud 9 Cats (registered petsitters) will be the authorised guardian for the aforementioned pet. Cloud 9 Cats has permission to take any action which they consider suitable in order to protect and keep in good health the animal (s). The owner will be responsible for any costs which might be incurred, either vetinary or other as a result of any sickness, accident or damage caused to or by the above named pets (except 3rd party liability) and will pay any such costs or expenses on demand. No liability will fall upon Cloud 9 Cats. If the animal has access to a cat flap and has permission to go out when owner is away, then in the event of the pet going missing Cloud 9 Cats will continue with the agreed visits, notify the vet, ID chip, insurance and local police, but will not be held responsible for the loss of the animal. Cloud 9 Cats may check any treatment with the owner in the first instance or emergency contact if owner is unavailable. The emergency contact should have spare keys, should be someone who can pay a bill in the event of a problem with the house or animal and who can make a decision about surgery or medication in the event of the owners being uncontactable. Emergency contact will also be first pont of call if the owner fails to return home from holiday or business trip. |
